Luckily plane never left Boston. Booked tomorrow. Good News I can get all my leftover work done today and leave laptop behind. They also pushed my return back one day so I have more time in Bangkok at the tail end of the trip

Then the cops would show up more frequently. The fines get bigger, and get attached to your property taxes if you don't pay
I'm not sure what else you would expect for using impact guns in the middle of the night. ![]() Quote:

As far as noise goes, I've a neighbour ( I live in a townhouse, so I've one on either side) that works as a radio DJ. She starts work at 4 am. I'm really quite courteous of that, but when she has left me nasty messages for watching a movie, (at reasonable volume) at 8 pm, I'm sorry, but on occasion, if I want to watch a movie after dinner in my own damned house I will.

SOB. My nook android just died when trying to upload movies.
Nothing is open (except Target, which only has apple). I think I may resort to trying to bring my own crappy 10 year old laptop. Or do I try to find something while I'm over there. Darn it, I really don't want to go on a 24 hour flight without a computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phones simply cant support that much memory and most phones can only take SD cards which have minimal memory space to say the least.

WTF!!
Made a resume and cover letter on resumenow.com, supposed to be free yet all it lets me do is download the text. URG!! Anywho, someone please read/edit. Matthew Bender Feb 17, 2013 Chambersburg Police Department 116 South 2nd Street Chambersburg, PA 17201 Dear David J. Arnold, Chief of Police My name is Matthew Bender and I'm writing you to apply for the position of patrol officer for the Chambersburg Police Department. I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience you are seeking and would make a valuable addition to your company, the City of Chambersburg, and the State. I am a mature, 22 year old male and after graduating Shippensburg Area Senior High School, I have enrolled in the police academy at HACC (part time) for my ACT 120 certification where I am 42 weeks from completing the curriculum. I am currently seeking my first law enforcement position. I have researched the requirements for the position and while I am a novice to the profession I recognize the position requires above average physical condition and agility. To that end I have consulted with officers in the profession and based on their recommendations and the requirements of ACT 120 certification, I made a physical schedule in which I attend the gym 3 times a week in addition to time spent at home running, training, and doing other various exercisess, as well as doing even more training during school. I currently live in Shippensburg which is within 15 miles of Chambersburg.. I was born and raised in this area and have attended Chambersburg BIC Church on and off during my lifetime. While I am not a military veteran, I have the utmost respect for those who have served. I would sincerely appreciate consideration for this position and I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the position with you and your leadership team. I have attached my resume for your review and I look forward to speaking with you further regarding your available position. Sincerely, Matthew Bender Matthew Bender Summary Automotive detailer with extensive hands-on experience in paint refinishing, interior renewing, and everything in between. Matt, non-offense advice intended, but I'd search around for an email address you can sign up for that has some combination of your name. Matthewbender418@yahoo.com (example) just sounds better than fender13bender. Makes people take it more seriously. Can't tell you how many resumes we've seen that are something like shoegal, or hottie15 and they go straight in the dump bin at HR.
I'd edit your email out of that post before spam bots find you!

I agree with Jon, find a gmail/hotmail/younameitemail that is some combo of you name. Or if you ever had a college email use that.
I also don't know about putting your age into the cover letter. Age is something that can be discriminated on... Young or old... Otherwise sounds good to me.

I have a few changes I'd recommend in the cover letter, I'll mark it up when I get home. Also, dude, take your address, phone, and email off of here, anyone in the world can read it.
