Yes. They will be fine for that. (I had to drive nearly 1000 kms on my first bad one, on my way from Ontario back to Alberta it chose then to crap out. Had to replace my rotor on that side at the same time, but caused no further damage).

Poor price, this is for new. (mind you none of the extras, but even so, I wouldn't buy it).

Still too much used. You can get a far better camera for less:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-EOS-D60-6-...item230573ae1d

(Just an example, I'd sooner check a used camera specialtist, and not buy electronics from ebay).

Im havfta disagree with you ed. Those "extras" add up to way more than the body of the camera.

I dont think a newer XTi and a ancient 6.3mp D60 are really comparable. I bought a new XTi with the starter package (body and 18-55mm) for somewhere around $800-900. My tripod was $100, my 70-200 lens was $700, my bag was $50, etc. So $550 for all of it in good working order seems like a decent price.

Guys, screw new york. i hate it.

I need info on California, i really am thinking about moving down there.. now more than ever. i want to just restart my life down there... leave all connections with people from new york.

And family isnt a issue. i pretty much don't have one. Some of you know what im talking about.

where is a good town round 100,000 people, good community and cheap aptarments. like a studio 1 bedroom. small. cheap. like i don't care about how small. i just need to leave new york. if i dont leave new york this coming up summer. i want to be in cali before 2011. and the lastest end of summer 2011

and im being serious

well depends on where you like to live cali can either be wtf expensive or moderatly expensive. San diego is nice just finding the right area is a problem. how much are you looking to spend on rent? if you are looking in the valley riverside is pretty good price wise but it sucks not much to do, you can try the SFV, the further inland the better the pricing is. Getting a roomie will def help out!

If you are looking for stuff to do nor cal the bay area and so cal in the hollywood santa monica area are nice! idk how the nor cal pricing is any more but i do know in santa monica an apt averages 2k a month and in hwood you can get some ok priced stuff in north hollywood.

DO you want to be in northern cali central or southern cali? they are so different from each other!

New water pump and thermostat. Price I'm not sure of yet. It will be $411 - $288 + t-stat and its labor (which shouldn't be much). Could have been worse I guess.

Going to welcome her back with a nice drive down 6A to the tip of Cape Cod and back (for those who don't know of the Cape...Search, then go there, it's amazing).
