it was worth watching once in theaters, good movie but once you watch it for the first time, there really isn't a desire to go back and see it again. Depp was really good in it and you would never be able to tell he was Jack Sparrow . Bale, meh, Bale is Bale and the same in pretty much every movie he is in

That's it. I'm sorry but I just lost every shred of respect I had for you. witchcraft and gay wizards? No offense but I can pretty much conclude from that statement that you are a very closed minded, highly religious, homophobic redneck. Am I wrong?
I can not believe that you just said that. I can't believe that there is still so much hatred towards people who are different. Are you scared that seeing Harry Potter is going to make you gay? Or make your friends think you're gay? I really am sorry but I just can't put up with that kind of uncalled for prejudice.

What in the world happened here. Its like coming home to find your chihuahua decided she wanted to be a racehorse and accordingly peed everywhere, especially your closet and bed and couch, and stampeded everywhere she didn't urinate. You just don't know whether to laugh or cry. Really.

That is taken WAY the hell out of context and you know it.

you asked for an explanation so I had to come up with something off the wall
sorry if I offended you, idk I just never got into Harry Potter. I saw the first one and didn't think there was anything redeeming about it to continue watching the series. A few of my old friends one time forced me to watch the second one and I fell asleep about 10 minutes into it . Lord of the Rings was cool when it came out but the last time I watched one of those was when the EE of RotK came out, watched it once and never watched LotR again . For the homesexuality part, I do have my religious beliefs about that and I will not say anymore about my views...and no I do not believe watching a movie is going to turn me gay or make others thing I'm :gay:

Teeheehee. Was not taken out of context. Just a poor choice of words on your part that I happened to notice and run with. You know better than that.

BTW, I happen to like the Harry Potter books. Good story, cute characters, and actually a very normal good vs evil plot. The movies aren't so great, but I'm picky and like my movies to follow the plot the books set out... Such as Lord of the Rings, which they did a wonderful job on IMO.

I really don't care if you hate Harry Potter. I couldn't care less if you think it's a boring plot with two dimensional characters, however I DO have a problem with you hating other people for being different so thank you for keeping those thoughts to your self and I would hope that you would also treat gay people exactly the same way that you would treat a straight friend. It's the golden rule.
