I'm so pissed off I have to rant. If you don't feel like reading it, then don't but I've had a horrible ****ing day. I've been extremely sick since last thursday, so sick that I can't eat anything, keep throwing up, have been running a fever; pretty much misery, and nothing I take helps at all. But I don't have health insurance, so decided I had to suck it up and go to the hospital emergency room. Understand, I don't go to doctors unless I'm dying, I don't like the retarded expensive bills, the shots, and not being sure that it wouldn't have just gone away on it's own. So we go to the ER, get there at 3 this afternoon. And we sit. And sit. And sit. They finally come out to get me started right as I was about to walk out for waiting so damn long (it's about 5 by now); they have to draw blood, I have no effing clue why, but say fine. So they stick me once. Can't get any blood. So the bitch swirls the damn needle around in my arm, and still can't get any blood. But they really need that damn blood, so despite the fact that I'm about to vomit on her and am looking at the floor because I can see myself passing out on it pretty soon.... she ties the rubber band thingy on my wrist and stabs me in the hand, which thank god finally gives blood. Have I mentioned yet how damn bad it HURT? After twenty damn people ask me if I'm pregnant, they take me to get an x-ray; I mentioned in triage that I've been hurting pretty badly all around my ribs for over a year and a half, they said ok we'll look at it. Go to x-ray, they don't x-ray my ribs. Just my stomach. Why? I have no ****ing clue. I go back and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. We FINALLY get back to a room, at 6. Then more waiting. Doc doesn't come till 7. Gotta give him credit, he was really nice. And hot btw. But anyway, he was nice. He ordered the chest x-ray, so more ****ing waiting. He says he's getting me a prescription for the nausea and an antibiotic. They do the x-ray. Then we wait. And wait. And wait. 7:30, we went to ask for the nurse to see if there was any sort of idea when we'd be able to go home. Nurse never comes. I'm getting madder and madder at this point. We ask just to get the paperwork together and don't worry about the x-ray, we just want to go home, we don't even care about it anymore. Nurse still never comes. (All this my mom was doing so I wouldn't lose my temper.) I'm sitting there staring at the clock, counting down to 8. 8 comes around, and I go looking for the nurse. Asswipe is just standing at the nurse's station flirting, looks at me like what do you want? I say, "I just want to go home. Can you get my paperwork together please so I can just leave? I've been here for 5 hours and I'm exhausted." Jackass says, "Well you haven't been waiting back here for 5 hours, and we're really busy. You aren't the only patient you know. The paperwork can't just get done immediately, it doesn't work that way. If you don't like it, then just leave." Yeah.... with my temper? Anyone guess what I did? I left. ****ing assholes. I'm so sorry I don't have the luxury of health insurance, but goddammit you people are sending me a huge bill, all I wanted to know was how much longer I was going to have to wait.

Ok, end rant.

Too expensive to maintain for me personally...plus I can't drive for the 1st year im in college (stupid rules). And its got 200,084miles on it. And its autotragic. Also did I mention I need a new catalytic converter? Need to replace a hood shock. Car exterior needs a re-paint well half of it at least. Oh I do have some rust, very minimal though. Its not an M3. Other than that car is in pretty good condition-ish kinda? Well I just want restart a fresh platform. I mean I could prob do all this within a budget. But I want something 6 spd perhaps and something with less miles. Idk my friends are influencing me with their recently new cars. A 350z and an E46...

Yes, I read it. Sorry you're not feeling well, hope you're better soon. I hate it when people have no courtesy. Especially when their entire job is supposed to be helping people. *********s.

Sorry for your problems, Amber. I hope you're feeling better soon, and the ER doesn't ding you for a ton of money.

My wife Kathy got me "The Ultimate History of BMW" for our 30th anniversary today.

I gave her pictures of dead presidents to spend any way she wants.

30 years, congrats Ken!

I want a copy of that book, but not badly enough to spend another 26 years with my ex wife.

This first:

Did you drop my name? It could have helped.
(Or hurt if it was John, he's still pissed I won't call his sister back).

Or to have told 'em that it was rude to have our Canadian sun so bright, and when Canadians cross at least you Yanks have the courtesy to lower the wattage so Canadians can remove their sunglasses.

Lol maybe it could have. It was the Lewistown, NY station.

I've never been more baffled in my life. He said to my friend who was driving, "Tell the passenger to remove the headphones and sunglasses," (headphones weren't even in, just resting on my shoulders). After he searched the entire car because apparently he didn't like us, he proceeds to ask me (JUST ME) to recite my full name and tell him what I do for work. Mind you I still have yet to say one word to this point. I proceed to answer him and then he goes "Be a little more respectful next time, this isn't just some tollbooth it's the border." I'm like whaaaaaaaat? I said "Sir I don't think I was being disrespectful, I wasn't aware you had to take your damn sunglasses off to cross the border, my apologies."

What a dickhead.

X10!

Unless I miss my guess, that was from taking a header off a bicycle, right? I looked just like that (maybe a little worse!) about 35 years ago. Went over the handlebars of a road bike at 30 mph on a clay road. Ouch.
