My "new" 2003 745Li......

Just picked this up last week. My first beemer and what a nice car. Its a 2003 Li with 75000 miles and under factory warrant until October. Very clean and good deal for 19k.....Here are a few pics..........

Is that massage function on the passanger side?? I thought that only came for the driver's seat...

Kinda wish I had that too...

mine has for driver and passenger seat also. but bmw didn't make good massage system

04 and up 7er only drivers had active seat, the so called massage

Congrads u will love driving this car...Now change those wheels I suggest the 19inch sport wheels..

Nice ride! Congrats and welcome. Looks like you have some wear on the passenger side seat. I'd recommend a good Lexol treatment - cleaner followed by conditioner - to help minimize it. Nice color, BTW.

Congrats. Great color. Get some 19 or 20's and you will be good to go.

Yeah I plan on getting some 19's once the tires wear out. I like the ones in the above post but in the deep dish chrome. And yes passenegr seat has the massage too but it is very slight at best.

The massage feature is, IMO, a little overrated. It's more of a "gentle bun juggler" than anything. It's supposed to gently swivel the driver's pelvis to prevent lower back fatigue, and I guess it does what it's designed to do. I use it on long trips, but otherwise it's not one of the Top Ten 7er features for me.

+1, probably the least used option I have in my car. Ventilated seats are a must though if you wear a suit. I find that after my morning workout and subsequent drive into the city, the air cooled seats kill the sweating.

I had an 02 lexus ls 430 ultra that had the heated and cooled seats and the cooling function was more of 'refrigeration' in the seats, didnt have a fan and it was a cooling sensation. youre saying that the cooling in the 7 is effective? I am not a suit but its something I enjoy in my current car though its nowhere near as effective as the ls was.

and to think i paid 50k over 3 years ago for one of these...

Mine is an 03 (late 02 build) that has it on the passenger side as well. I use it on long trips and it helps a ton. Other than that its just a waste!
