Folding side view mirrors

Hi,
1st post to the forum.

Just got a BMW 118d. I received an hour tutorial from the BMW guy but he failed to mention / I forgot to ask, how to fold the side views mirrors.

Can you guys help me out with that? How do i fold the side view mirrors? Is there a button somewhere that I need to press?

IIRC, you have to push the button next to the side view mirror selector. (at least on the 3, not sure about the 1)

The buttons i have next to the side view mirror selector are just to adjust them but not to fold. Thanks for your suggestion.

Any help?

Strange.. in my 3 it's the small square button next to the selector. I pushed that one and they folded.

If your vehicle is equipped with electric folding mirrors, there is a small button to the left of the selector switch for the electric mirror adjustment. In addition, you may use the Convenience Close function by holding the lock button on your keyfob when you exit the vehicle; the windows will roll up and the mirrors will fold up. Upon unlocking, they will automatically unfold.

If there is a blank space near the mirror adjustment switch, then your vehicle is not equipped with the option. In this case, simply push the mirrors to fold manually.

I think AzN is right. My vehicle do not have such features. Thanks a lot for the info guys.

in my 135 there is a small round button next to the right/left mirror selection switch. When you push the button the mirrors fold/fold out. Hope this helps.
