Error Code DME 2A13 DMTL Pump
All -
I had a Service Engine Soon light come on... After diagnosing the problem I had error code DME 2A13 - Short to DMTL Pump. ( I think on a regular OBDII reader it is code P1447) I boughtthe pump from GetBMWParts.com for like $115. Part#2 Here: http://www.getbmwparts.com/parts/200...iagram=1942230 Based on my Bently repair manual the pump would be attached the to charcoal cannister right behind the rear drivers side buper. Well, on the 2009 328i it si on the passengerside, but it was an easy find. I pulled a few screws swaped the part, cleared the codes, and a month later I still have no SES light... I just wanted to put this out there for public service.
