12 Hour Pictures

Greetings from Munich...well, Innsbruck at the moment. Took delivery today at 11AM. The car is everything expected and then some. Our delivery person, Hans, was amazing. The experience is almost surreal, and the quality of the product shows in everything they do at the Welt. We arrived in Munich on Thursday, and wanted to do the factory tour. We made it to the Welt about 5 minutes after the last English speaking tour started and they went over and above to get us together with that group. The food is great...the premium lounge makes you feel like a rock star.

Finally got WiFi at our hotel in Innsbruck. Spending the day here tomorrow and off to Italy via Brenner Pass.

Enough about that...here's the shots...included a few from the journey over...gotta love the flight tracking on the plane...a view of Munich and the BMW HQ from our hotel in Arabella Park (Westin Grand for $80 on Priceline!!) And a shot of the U-Bahn schedule from our journey to the Welt this morning. The train system in Munich is amazing.

Great intro. Keep us posted and enjoy the travel to Italy. (You have read the recent thread warning of petty theft issues in Italy and elsewhere I presume.)

Congratulations on your acquisition. But we all know what a 135i coupe looks like. How about the new owners in there with the car, please?
