Airbag light

Anyone having problems with the airbag and seat belt light coming on while driving. I believe it is due to a loose wire under the passenger seat since it first happened when a bottle of water got shoved under there, but I have not yet been able to find the exact source of the problem. It occurs very intermittently, and have not had a chance to take it to the dealer yet.

If there is any weight on the passenger seat - say a supermarket shopping bag - it will remind you to put on the seatbelt - put your stuff on the floor or fasten the seat belt -

BMW NA Customer Relations actually got involved to help this owner.

I just got the dealer change the wire. It's good now. This is now a recall campaign for all 2009 Z4 that made in 03/09.
