Changing water valve........
Anything to watch out for when changing the water valve (heater control valve)? Looks fairly simple, couple of hose clamps and an electrical connection. Is their any chance of getting an air lock in the cooling system? If so, how can you tell and how do you fix.

My guess to be safe would be to do a coolant flush. The cooling system is bled when you are SLOWLY refilling it with coolant with the bleeder screw loose.

I changed the valve and only lost a thimble full of coolant - started it up to operating temp and all seems ok. I now have air con that can cool as well as heat.
