Odd fan kinda sound inside the cabin

So I noticed after I installed my angel eyes a long time ago.
I've been hearing a fan type sound sometimes behind my cluster or near my ECU box area....
Can't really tell. Just sounds like air coming out of something or somewhere I'm really not even sure...

From your description sounds like you are just talking about the ECU box cooling fan. Not really sure I am understanding what the question is.

Is there even a ECU box cooling fan?
If so where is it located? Maybe I need to change it.
CUz I never heard this sound before until I installed my angel eyes...
And I only hear it sometimes not all the time.....
But if this ECU cooling fan really exists please show me the link of the part etc...

Can't say if that is the issue. When the ECU fan bearings start to go, most people describe it either as a cricket in the dash sound or a very high pitch electronic tone.

The fan on the climate control unit...I've never seen it on though..

I'll change this out and see if this fixes the issue.

I will let you know what I come up with.
Although all this morning on the way to work it never did it.
It only does it when the cars fully warmed up...

Happened after I installed my first set of angel eyes.

Your exhaust belt is loose, install a chrome one immediately!

hahahha i found him chrome duct tape the other day ya know just incasee he needs to tape something up

Well I figured it out.
Yes it was the ECU fan.
I guess ill be replacing it soon.
Now to find that DIY again.... Jake! where is it?

$90s for the cover+blower aka fan for the ECU box.
That sound about right?

Typical dealer price. Tischer has it for $73 exclusive of shipping. Might want to try just lubing it per the DIY first depending upon what type of noise/problem you actually having with it.

It just sounds like a loud old fan.
No cricket/squeeking sounds.
Maybe I should just try to spray it up with some W-D40 or MAF cleaner lol.

Yea, I have no idea why it does it. Happened 3 times when I was driving and it lasted for a minute. Sounds like crap.
