Is this X5 completely OEM or Aftermarket?

Never seen an X5 with this type of body kit before. The running boards and front and rear bumpers are flush with the car's body color. No ugly black trim to be found anywhere. Is this body kit Aftermarket or OEM?

Don't know, but they say it is CPOd, and they cant CPO a car with non-factory parts....

Hi there, I have the same color, love it ... but to be honest, I never quite liked the body kits that somehow try to make the car look like a more powerful model. I could be wrong, but from the rear, they're trying to make it look like a 4.6, the 4.4 lettering on the sides is missing. Everytime I see someone driving a bimmer with stripped letters (sry don't know what they're called), I think to myself, why do they do that? Are they trying to trick others in thinking they have something else? LOL ... I like the wheels though

Looks to me like it's the BMW Aero kit.

That's an OEM body kit. In this particular case, the 4.4i lettering emblems must be removed due to the body...not because the owner is pretentious wanting to fool others into thinking it's a more powerful vehicle than it really is. But who knows, may be the owner really is pretentious wanting to add a body kit By the way, the 4.6iS' body kit looks nothing like the aforementioned kit. So, I'm not sure what you're trying to infer that it "tries" to make it look like a 4.6? Everyone has their own tastes...some likes body kits, others don't. That's why BMW offered it as an added on option.

Back in the late 70's we picked up our 530i at the factory and drove it around Europe for 3 months. Back then, and may be now too, it was common to see BMWs Mercedes, etc with no engine/size model lettering. During our delivery we noticed several BMWs at the delivery center that didn't have lettering. We were told that most dealers did not keep a large stock of vehicles on their lots. So most BMWs and Mercedes were built-to-order and that the lettering was a no cost option.
