2006 X3 Roller Blind / Cargo Cover

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody could tell me where to buy a used roller blind for my 06 X3 (beige). does anybody here have one? I keep looking on ebay and craigslist---most are either grey or black. There's one on craigslist in Colorado, but the guy won't ship it to me in NH. Please help, this is the last piece to "complete" my new purchase! Thanks in advance

Patience is needed - a beige one will eventually come up on ebay.

Just like the person who turned in the '06 you bought, someone will suddenly realise they have one in their garage that was overlooked on their lease return/trade-in/private sale.

Wreckers also sell them.

Not sure if prices vary due to the usual ebay pattern, or is color-dependent, but in good condition, $50 - $100 seems to be the range, plus shipping.

Bargain price on a BIN ... postage from the UK may be a bit high though, but probably worth it if you want one that badly.

HTH.

Give Strictly German in Braselton, GA a call:

They may very well have what you're looking for even though you don't see it on their E-Bay site.

Why would you even want one? I took mine (black) out of the car the day I brought it home and it sits nixt to the roller blind out of my Tahoe in the garage, never to be used until the day I sell the car.

They are useful IMO if you have something in the trunk and don't want prying eyes to look at it. Besides, on hot months it helps with the a/c efficiency, having less space to cool down.

Mine is mounted and closed all the time, unless I have to carry something big or retract the rear seats.

I like mine too and use it fairly often.

When I bought the car I was immediately impressed with the quality of the construction and mounting of it.

I've gotten so used to crappy window shade looking units with the little plastic slots that I took 10 minutes to marvel at how it's built and mounted.

Just one more example of why we pay more for our cars.

hey-
I found this on ebay and thought you should take a look at it...its not a UK listing like the one above so that works in your favor.
