upgrade from non DSP

Hi,

i have a e53 without DSP and as you probably know, the sound is lame.

I would like to upgrade and i found the following solutions:
1. upgrade to DSP. Is it difficult/expensive?
2. installing an amplifier and a subwoofer. is this difficult? i have to link all the speakers to this amplyfier? I do not thin ktaht i have an amplifier right now.

Any suggestions are more than welcomed.
