03 745Li wiper not working, windshield wiper fault

When i start my car i get a message "windshield wiper fault" and wipers not working. Anyone else seen it?

Update:
I went to dealer, it took them all day(they couldn't reset/clear errors) to find out that I need to replace wiper MOTOR.
$1,200 to replace it, 750 a part and rest is installation and programming. I said hell NO!!! And paid $120 for diagnostic.
Took car home, put Rain-X(works like a champ), went online and ordered user motor with transmission, they don't sell Motor separate. $350.
Installed new motor and still NOT working!!! I've tried to clear/reset error by my self thru Odometer(secret menu), but it didn't work ether.
Tested old Motor and it was working.

Not sure if i need to go to Dealer and "clear" error or reprogram, see if it helps, but they charge $150(rip Off).

Nope,
Nothing has been replaced.

Electric motors fail all the time. It happened to me on my 280Z around 100K miles. Go get one out of a junk yard or even pep boys if you don't have the $'s

I took my car to some local shop to clear errors and he told me that i have an error code:
A3C6 Wash wiper module communication Error
And he can't do anything about it.

Any1 have a clue?

DId you ever figure this out? I have the wiper fault now.

Start off with the socket and make sure all is well there. It is quite tricky to coonect it as you need to go for you life when you're pushing it in. Have a look and let me know.

Went to pepBoys they cleared error, but it didn't help.

End up buying a used motor(which comes with transmission), replaced it and it worked fine.

Was replacement very difficult? Do you have a write up or somepictures possibly?My error isnt going away.

Replacement wasn't that hard,

Took it to the dealer. $125.00 inspection charge. They said there were faults in the assembly and module... so $3200 to fix. But then they said the disconnected and reconnected the battery and it went away, wipers work.... so what would cause that?
