E46 Wing mirror loom connector

Hi all

Ive broken the white connector/plug that is on the end of a drivers side mirror loom.

BMW cannot give me a part number for this and say i must replace the whole mirror (for a connector worth pennies )

It has 6 wires going into the connector (the connector then plugs in the interior door handle)

Does anybody know
1) what the part number would be?
2) or what this connector is called so i can search and buy one
3) or where i can get one from?
4) or if anyone has a old one they could sell to me?

Cheers all

Can't tell for sure. From a somewhat similar E46 mirror replacement DIY ( http://www.argyrides.eu/bmw/mods/m3_...m3_mirrors.htm) The white connector looks like it maybe could be the type of connector identified as the parts #6 & 7 connectors in : http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BN12&mospid=47615&btnr=61_1280&hg=61&fg=15
Hard to tell from the diagrams. If you can't easily find a match it may just be simplest to replace both plug and socket sides.
