Ti?

What does this mean or stand for, located on the bottom of the idrive screen?

I meant TI (capital I).

Ti means that you are receiving real time traffic information updates. Check your manual for details but I find it uber-cool when navigating through LA traffic. With it active you can be cruising along and it will update you to conditions and potential delays and offered the option to detour around it. It really works well.

If it is not shown on the screen you are in an area not covered by the service.
