That damage does look pretty bad. I agree with another poster that the dealer is supposed to write down all damage.
Was this found when picking up so that it is clear that you did not cause it? I had an issue with a parking service at the airport. I did not see a ding when I left (it was raining) but saw it when I got home. Too late to claim. Shame on me.
