New X5 iPhone contacts problem

Hi, I just got a new 2009 X5 3.0i and love it. I am having a problem with pulling up my contacts from the iPhone. The Navigation display only shows contacts from A to D but not the entire list. I have about 3000 contacts in my phone.
I also have a 3 series that does not have the iDrive display which has no problem displaying all my contacts.
Has anyone experienced this problem with their iDrive displays or have a solution?

Maybe it's the amount of contacts? I have about 400+ contacts in mine and I haven't had any issues from day one with my iPhone contacts in my 09 X5.

If you haven't already you may just want to try to sync your iphone with iTunes and then try again or delete your iPhone from the idrive and start over again. Good luck.

I've had a similar problem.....

The contacts on my iPhone show up under the person's first name on my 2009 X5. Interestingly, the iDrive on my 2007 335i are displayed by the person's last name.

The dealer tells me this is just a new iDrive version and there isn't an iDrive setting to change it.

I hate it.
