Question is it ok to just replace 2 tires?

just my rear tires are bald. my fronts still have a decent amount of tread left. don't ask me why this is so since the car is supposed to be pretty close to 50/50 balanced (would rear wheel drive cause this difference?).

what would the effects of just having new back tires be? understeer/oversteer?

well

I replaced just my rears

they were bald from burning rubber too much

There could be issues thugh with handling and over/understeer

I am not worried though

I love a little fish tail now and then

Why replace the tires when you can replace the car and get 4 new tires?
