God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

+1 for Mr. Bean though, used to watch him as a child lol.. And what I enjoyed when we had cable was The Office, Modern Family, Family Guy, The Middle, etc..
yes thats right, the only american comedy show i like is two and a half men. and the other shows i mentioned are british but i like those too. I dont really like Australian/NZ stuff, but Outrageous Fortune is a good NZ show, though i suspect you would have to be an NZer to get the jokes/context

only thing mentioned so far that i thinks funny is Workaholics. two and a half men is not bad to watch, i watch it all the time, but its far from what id consider real comedy.

Im serious about it. I can store it in my brother's storage unit for as long as I need to. I have the m42, wiring harness, clutch, and 5 speed from the 318is my brother rolled last year.

The shell is completely disassembled for some body work, he has no seats/carpet etc.. He's asking $600 obo. I know the 76s are not the most desirable, but this would be a project more or less to give me something fun to do, and eventually end up with an auto-x/Road America/weekend toy that will take up all my free time

I'm going to look at the shell tonight and see how rough it is; if it's spent its life here in WI I wouldn't be surprised if its a complete wreck.

Also, anyone have any idea where I might find fabric similar to this?

is the 76 from the years when they had the rectangle lights rather than the circle ones?

I wouldnt pass up a clean original 2002 if one came up here and i was in a position to buy, i think they are gorgeous

Yep, rectangle lights, I'm gonna go take a close look at it Monday morning. Shock towers are good, couple spots on floor and trunk need to be cut out, jack points are solid (or so he says). If its as good as he says I'm gonna buy it.

Nope, even if it was, this has no motor/trans, etc... Only driveline piece left is the oem diff.
I'm gonna end up putting flares on this I'm sure, I wanna run a 16x8 wheel, with some 225/45/16 tires. It's hard to find a meatier tire in 16" unless you buy slicks ;(

2002 diffs are expensive. That's one reason we converted the rear sub frame.

That's our new race car, the old one is for sale Funds are needed to get into Se30, the tires and other wear parts are expensive for the GRM car, the modifications puts us in a high class for Time Trials, small team can't afford it.

+1, thing looks beast!

Stupid question... Are there drop hats available for the 2002 chassis?

Drop hats aren't what they are cracked up to be. We have installed them and they need bigger bearing washers almost negating the drop, just have less preload on the springs.

They looked pretty good on the 325is I thought.

So why did you swap to the rear subframe on your 2002, just because of the diff, or is there a good advantage to having it?

Availability of parts, stronger, more options.
