E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Nice!

I'm just cruising the interwebs in between studying the ETM's.

Finding a unmolested, manual, plastic bumper, 325i, is getting close to impossible. I bought the Rabbit because it was a insane deal. Now I need to put a new gas tank in it and replace a pulley and do a timing belt and its up for sale. It is amazingly fun to drive and the body is completely rust free but I don't love it like I do E30's. Volkswagen's are over rated.

You are welcome to buy it when it goes up for-sale at the end of September. I'm going to make a appearance with it at H20 this year.

Just entered my car into GAPs anonymous contest. Winner gets coilovers, anti-sway bars, polyurethane bushings, and a 3 day racing school class. If anyone would like to vote for my car, it would be such a help You'll probably have to add me on Facebook to see it https://www.facebook.com/brent.burriss

picked up a e32 750 the other day. Removed the rear relicining/heated seats. That thing is a rocket compared to the m20! and it is in need of a tune up. How does it go in that e34? and whats the weight of a e34 touring?

so, we have been flow testing m20 heads and manifolds.

Take everything you read on the internet and forget it.

the seta manifold is scrap, the eta manifold and 885 head is win for flow numbers.

Hmm eta>I manifold? Would a complete 5 speed swap from a 87 325e work in my seta? Jumping into the swap because my girlfriend decided to drive with my e brake all the way up (my e-brake WAS amazing) so running into slipping problems with the auto

Not possitive on this but pretty sure the g260 is the same transmission for all M20 motors.

there is 2 different g260's. same gearing and bell housing on both, so they will mount up to any m20. but the shift linkage is different between the early and late transmissions.

early uses the metal plate, late uses the aluminum linkage rod. you can use either one on any e30 with minimal work.

Might be buying a 1971 Mercedes 250C tomorrow at an auction. Reserve is $1k, body is pretty clean, carbs are gunked and brakes are spongy. 4 speed manual with the gas motor, interior looks damn near perfect. Best part? 21k original miles
