which crap ? the thick clear coat ? ****ty 3 layers of paint on the center caps? the zinc plating on the lips ? or the general grime that is on the barrels ?

for some reason air craft stripper and graffiti remover dont seem to effect the paint in the center caps. i have been hand sanding the paint off with 600 grit wet.

the zinc plating im going to attack with limeaway solution.

the style 19's are pretty simple. clear comes off with stripper, bolts are easy to polish as ar the lips.

all of this and if i get this new project ill be trading them all for something else

Steve i cheated... My HD's arent for an e30, they are off a 1997 accord(at least thats what the guy told me) but they are 1.5 inches shorter than stock e30 shocks I love how my drop looks i should take a pic of just my wheel well, the clearance between my wheel and arch is legit for not having coilovers (about 1/4 of an inch up front and 3/8 in back)

it would also defeat the purpose and cause suspension fail about 3 city blocks from the install point.

i know a cat that did that. shortened his shocks and ran standard springs, with the shock holding the spring compressed at full extension. foolish child
