2010 X5 Pricing

Hello all, I'm looking to trade up my X3 for a X5 35d. It looks like all the 2009s have been sold, and the dealers I've spoken to said they can order the 2010 model. Does anyone have the invoice pricing for 2010 yet?

Thanks!

Pricing

Hi -- I don't have the 2010 X5 invoice pricing, but, I know that the MSRP for the X5 Diesel has remained the same so I (perhaps wrongly) assumed that the invoice pricing was identical as well give or take a few hundred.

I was on the fence debating between a 2009 and ordering a 2010 -- I got a good deal on the 2009 so went with that. The best price I got on a 2010 was invoice plus $1000 minus the $4500 ecorebate, or basically 2009 invoice minus $3500 for an order on a 2010. If you want the ecorebate, you'll need the order placed and a production number issued to you before August 31st. Of course, this only matters if you want the Diesel version.

Hope that helps.

There are other threads on this, but briefly:

base price same
Technology Package $200 more on MSRP
Sport Package - Discontinued, was $3700
Sport Activity Package - $2200 (does not include Active Suspension any more)
Active Suspension - $3500

So, if you are getting tech it is 200 more. If you wanted the 'old 2009 Sport Package' it is now $5700 (you order ZAP plus 2VA) or $2000 more.

2010 comes with the new iDrive. Worth 2200 to me...

when you place an order with the dealership for the 2010s do they give you the price? Is it something that they leave open until prices are final?

No, I just ordered my 2010 X5d and they have all the pricing there. The base price is the same and all of the above is true. On of the things they made an option is roof rails, they are now $100 and the cost of sirius is now $350 instead of $595! Eveything else is the same as the 2009.

They also split the sport package in two. You don't get the adaptive drive unless you pay extra for it in 2010.

No, dealers have pricing now. Just nobody has posted the BMW price sheet.

use the numbers from 2009, with the corrections I posted above. Admittedly you will need to estimate the 'invoice' based on the MSRP increments above. Figure technology is $180 invoice (compared with 200 MSRP)... Likewise apply 90% to the other numbers and you will be danged close- close enough to negotiate and finalize a price.

EDIT:: ManJ... you are looking for a 3.0, not the diesel if I recall... my comments in this thread are for the diesel only.

My dealer has told me that to get the newest version of iDrive with all of the same features as on the new 7 Series, the 2010 X5 must come equipped with Navigation ($1,900) as an option. Navigation can also be ordered as a part of the Technology Package ($2,800).

I don't see anyone mentioning their rate, if financing, the 2010. The rates right now are 5.9 to finance a 35d, for those who ordered a 2010 already, are you locked itnto the 5.9 or did the dealer tell you the rate may change?

I'm pretty sure you get the rate that's available through BMWFS when you take delivery of the car. New rates come out every month through BMW. Check the rates on a loan through your bank or credit union.

The only thing that can be locked in is Eco Credit of $4500 on a 2010. And when they publish rates and lease info that will be a HUGE savings.

If you lock in the ECO credit you will NOT qualify for any alternative programs (ie subsidized finance rates). Confirmed with regional sales rep.

Speaking of 2010 X5s, has anyone heard any more info about the possibility of the new 740d motor (306hp,442#ft) being put in the X5, possibly spring 2010?

That's the triple turbo motor. I've heard they won't release that for the U.S.A.

At least not for 2010...

Ordered X5

I traded my Range Rover Sport on a 2010 X5 diesel a couple of weeks ago. I am following it on the BMW website where it is still "on order" but hasn't been "scheduled for production".

I played around with a '10 X5M a few days ago. The new idrive is pretty cool. It is a little faster to navigate through.

I have yet to get a clear answer as to whether the 2010 X5 will be "facelifted" or not. One post on this forum says it will while another says not until 2011. Based on BMW's usual pattern, I would think the 2010 would have the facelift. Hope you guys can help me out on this one.

2010 X5 Diesel, Sapphire Black, Saddle leather, Comfort seats, Sport activity and Adaptive Drive, lots of toys.

What you want to know is here: http://www.Xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...lift-pics.html
It pretty much says 2011 is going to be facelifted. There are pretty reliable sources there.

When does "my Cars" on the website go live ?

I placed an order with my CA on Monday 9-14..... they showed me a sheet with my name on the order, and "sold" in one of the boxes. All of the prices were listed as "blocked".

Does this mean that the dealership doesn't have an allotment for the X 35d yet and there really isn't an order ?

When does the vehicle show up on my BMW page ?

You should be good- with your name on the order and a production number, there IS an allocation in your name. The BMW software for pricing is not programmed yet (they haven't coded the new prices) so it shows as blocked. Many people are seeing this, salesmen included.

No production number ?

How long does it take to get a production number? Are these tied into the allocations ?

When you guys speak of a $4500 'eco credit' is that actually a diesel vehicle credit, or are you referring to the Obama giveaway/subsidy that expired?
Not being political, just trying to figure out if I could expect that credit if I were to order one, say, next week.

Thanks!
