Latest problem, stripped diff fill plug

If there is a trick to get it off now I would like to know. My solution to filling the fluid is to jack the rear about 4 feet in the air and add the fluid through the drain hole. Any ideas?

I stripped the drain plug on my diff. I think I used a large torx/star bit with a propane torch and was able to get it out with that way. I did this a few years back so I am not entirely sure how i got it off.

It's a bit late to tell you this now, but this is why you always remove the fill plug before removing the drain plug. You don't want to end up in this situation.

As far as how to fix it now...how about a left-handed drill bit and screw extractor?

Your right, but all I did was loosen the bottom and the temporary solution is to fill it through the speedo pick up hole. The bottom needed a bar and pipe to loosen>
