Bluetooth Passkey 2005 X3

For those who have either lost their passkey paperwork or bought used and never received the Bluetooth Passkey... in the cargo department, left side floor you'll see a rectangular shape cover. Lift/pull carpeted cover off (exposes a couple of wrenches & tow hook), next remove the side panel by pressing the rectangular button on what looks like a speaker. This will release the panel. Inside the cubby is the Bluetooth device, on which is the factory info including the vehicles 4-digit Passkey.

You can also phone a BMW dealer and request it. They keep them on record if your vehicle has OE Bluetooth installed.
