Anyone tried the Hawk HPS Street pads?

Just got a new X5 4.4i (Sport). Looking for low dust pads. Any thoughts on the Hawks? Tire Rack saids they stop better but have same or more dust than OE pads.

Thx.

Try Axxis Ultimates. I've read good reviews on these and they stop better than OEM and dust less.

Hawk pads are track/street combination pads. Not sure if it's wise to run these on a car that's never going to see any track time.

I've been running hawk HPS pads for a while now. I love them. But I would recommend them for thsoe who want increased stopping power and fade-resistance over stock pads not for those looking for lower-dusting pads. They dust about the same as stock pads and even have less cold grip than stock. The only reason to get them is to have higher performance pads without having the downsides of true track pads (LOUD squealing, LOTS of dust and accellerated rotor wear).

Hawk Pads

Thanks guys. I hear from guys that have the Hawks on the 330Ci that have experienced less dust. Maybe it's because the 330Ci is lighter?
