Bmw is a very nice car indeed. But ford is not crap. I do not fancy the 302 much, but my ford 300-6 had over 400k before it went out ^^ and my bmw has 263k ^^. I hate fuel injection. :asshole:

fords are made in america crap. prolly the most talked down on car manufacturer i have ever heard of. for a good reason.

my 325e had over 350k and not even as much as an oil changes in 6 years. fuel injection > carb'd any day of the week.

I really doubt the mileage of the car depends on fuel injection vs carb. but on that subject my mom had a 79 chevy suburban that she barely maintained, think 20+k miles between oil changes, it ran for 500,000 miles till the body fell apart around it. Last I know of it that motor came out and went into some elses car.

they are the most mass produced in the world. look at the numbers, ford has pushed more cars out of their factories than any company i know. hell i think their numbers are getting up there with "always," just because most of the people are on their period when they need to get it fixed. /of being sexest (for now)

only one member of my family owns a ford. my uncle tim. he has never once said how good it is, only how bad he hates them. but his company buys them cheap. my grandmother has owned a couple fords and hated them all. rest of my family owns chevy's. ive never heard one complaint. never heard a single person in person ever say fords are better. all ive heard is my 5.0 will beat you blah blah .. 1986 325e fully stock engine with not so much as a chip took it for a walk .. just another nail on the coffin

head towars the corn fields and youll start hearing people say fords are hot shiz. my uncle character claims his f150 will out do my runner, a good friend who wont buy anything but a ford, same with his brother. im in the mix of good vs bad for ford. ive seen the bad and ive seen the good. you really cant beat the 9in diff for available options, yet alone theyre beefier than hell. but they do make for good farm trucks. beat them to hell and get another when that one breaks.

never heard of a "good" ford. even from my redneck friends. 9ich rear is good, no denying that .. but ford shoulda made a better car to put it in. cant say anything about their farm equipment never heard of any ford farm equipment.

mainly rangers, early 90s f150s, late 80s f250 deisels, older f100s. those are basically the farm equipment vehicals. i change tires on them on a daily basis, and many iowians use them cause theyre cheap and can find many in the junk yards.

true, but there are some good ones out there. notice the word "some", like few, couple, not many.

i wouldnt go that far since there are alot of bmw's laying around the junkyards. Besides everyone has their opinions on trucks i favor fords over chevy, simply because of all the trucks we've owned the only ones that have left us stranded were chevys, ford always pulled through.

"All i have to say is this as well"

My '79 never let me down I have been offered $3000 for my 79' but she isnt goin anywhere. ( I never said i liked Ford cars, well except the 70's Mustang Mach 1. I mean i just like the trucks ranging from the 70 - 80's, i do see more 70's chevy then 70's fords. on the road.) I like the stuff from the 70's Emissions can fly right out the window.

-I mean i just hate changing wiring and sensors. I like the good Carb'd stuff. You ask any mechanic (atleast the ones around my area.) and they will say the same thing. Somthin fail's anyone can fix it. Somethin stupid fails on my bmw and a mechanic wont touch it, sends me to some BMW mechanic... and he refuses to tell me but says he can fix it. I dont like that so much. So ill stick with my carb'd stuff!

I like BMW's as they make amazing equipment, which is why the next "good" car i buy is going to be a bmw.

You have to be on crack. My best friend had a SHO back in high school. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice looking car. But the suspension on that thing was junk and it wasn't really that fast. I saw it get smoked by civics and integras all the time.

you should go to mechanics that know how to work on cars.
