First car... A 1989 535i?
Hey guys.
I'm 18 years old, and just recently got the right to drive! I am aware that BMW's are high class cars that require expensive maintenance, insurance and gas fees, but i'm aware of that. It's a 1989 535i series car, automatic with only 110 000 killometers (not miles). He would sell it for 1200$, which is the price he paid for a few repairs on it just a few months ago. All that's missing on the car is a front bumper, but i'm guessing a couple hundred bucks to get that back to shape. What do you think guys?

You are posting in the wrong area, if it is a 89, then it is a e34 not a e28. I would go to the e34 part of this site.

The thing that causes a break up of car and driver with this car is a bad transmission. If its a stick then its worth 1000 bucks with me and it better be really nice. If its an automatic then people would just about have to pay me to buy it. Those cars are fantastic to drive............When their at 100%.... They can be less than 100% pretty quickly..
