Oil filter socket

Does any one know where I can buy a socket to remove the oil filter on a 2007 X3 E83 motor the cap is plastic ,it has 15 flats & app 85m accros hoping you can help 318iaus.

I got mine from Bavauto, but i think you can find it in most auto supply stores. I think this was discussed in the oil change thread.

It shouldn't be torqued on too hard, so worth testing your hand strength to see if you can do it without the expensive tool (see below).

Any generic strap wrench might work as well.

Don't forget to put the drained oil in a container where you can accurately measure the amount you got out - as you don't have a dipstick to guide you on refilling.
