Red face Service Interval Display & Engine Service Soon Light on

There have 7 illuminated lamps or lights on the Service Interval Display, when I turn the ignition key to #2, I noticed there only have 5 illuminated lamps or lights is on - they like kind of yellowish/Green color and the other 2 shows a bit red. What does it tell me?

When I read the menu, it says " The number of illuminated lamps decreases as the time for your next maintenance visit approaches "

Also, when I turn on the ignition, the Engine Service Soon light comes on for a second or two, shall I just ignore the light or ????

Please advice

The SI display has 7 lights:
  • 5 green
  • 1 yellow
  • 1 red

If the yellow and/or red LEDs illuminated at the same time as any of the 5 green LEDs...it wouldn't make much sense and would make the text in the owners manual really confusing:

Continuous or intermittently is what you DON'T want to see...a brief illumination at start up only indicates that the light still works:

Do you notice the little round gray "dot" after the SERVICE ENGINE SOON description in the owners manual? That little gray "dot" has a meaning which is ALSO explained in the owners manual..the explanation appears just after the yellow highlighted text in the image below:
