Buying my 2008 550i Tomorrow with 49,997 miles

07 530I with 67K for me. Purchased year ago with 53K and so far no issues. Love it.

04 530i with 81k just airbag sensor replacement under recall and battery replacement. Running strong and healthy

'08 535i, Sport and Premium Pkg, Natural Brown Dakota Leather, Monaco Blue- 69,800 Miles (owned since 51,000 last year) and joined this forum TODAY.

Service in last year : front thrust bushings, 4 Pilot Super Sport tires, Fuel sensor, plugs, oils changes)

75k on 2007 530i. Silver, Sports and Premium Package, awesome seats. Replaced the rock hard Bridgestone run flats recently and car is amazing ride now. Had to replace a few things but all covered under CPO warranty....so far so good.

I have 63k on my 2008 535i. I have had to replace the battery. *fingers crossed*

AWDBoost, not sure if this is your first BMW however if so welcome. I bought my first 20 years ago and have not looked back since. Why look for anything better when you already have the best.

Ok so I should be a tester for this company, I am currently at wait for it.............193,xxx yes One Hundred ninety-three thousand and xxx miles, before you ask me what I have replaced I will tell you almost everything except the tranny (wheres the wood) but all jokes aside this has to be one of the most reliable car I have ever owned the 7 was the worst, my daily commute =80miles + incidentals P.S. when I go to the dealership (yes I go there they give me comp loaners everytime) they always tell me how well maintained my car is to be an 04 (I think they can leave the last part off) P.S.S those of you who say that the new 2012+ 5 series is not as good are crazy as hell, I drove that car in nothing but sport mode hard as i could (full rental coverage) as fast as I could, it does go 155 all day long then it will drive like gma when you need it to with great gas mileage i and that was a 528 I can only imagine the 535 an 550

Buying at 49,997 miles!! Wow, if it's not out of warranty by date in service you better make sure it's ok before driving more than 3 miles. If at a dealer make them check everything...

I have a 2007 525i with 93,500. Sunroof has been my only issue so far..

What's the highest so far?

You aren't the only one...

I'm at 107,000. I have all of the regular maintenance. Only other problems was a small oil leak from the header gasket due to just being old. Replaced gasket. All is perfect.

I am at 32,760 miles on my 2010 E60 right now. Have had it since Sept 18 and hardly put any miles on it. Got the car with 32,660 on it. This is more my weekend driver as I have a daily driver. I will try to keep it as long as I can.

my 04 545i is now at 100,000 Km's or converted to miles = 62,137 miles.... so far so good, and its been driving like a dream since I got it!

2008 535i purchased in 2012 on st Patrick's day (picked up my first speeding ticket in 10 years on my way home from the dealer) is hitting 40k miles tomorrow morning. I love driving this car hard. Only issue was I got the reduced power warning and engine shut down during my first week of ownership. It left me stranded and was a mahor hassle. I was told it was due to a bad exhaust vanos solenoid. Time will tell the rest of the story.

I've got 105K on my 2007 E60 550i and love every mile! It's a great car, so smooth and powerful. The only repair outside of tire, oil, brakes or fluids was the water pump at 90K for $750.00 including labor and a new thermostat.

My 2005 545 recently went over 197K. Biggest repair was transmission at185K. Burn oils most old BMWs do. I just check it frequently and relplinish when 1 quart low.

Out of curiosity, was the transmission replaced or repaired in some way?

109k on my 2005 e60. Just replaced battery. Replaced rubber seals around windshield and rear windows.

Did you replace water pump because car was overheating? Or was this a scheduled preventative maintenance decision?

Replaced mine too on front/rear windshield. Def looks a WHOLE lot better.

I had a heck of a time getting that strip on the front windshield started when I was re-installing. I finally gave it a good whack and it got it started, lol
