DVD Player for X3?

Seen this on an X3

If you look closely at the front seats headrests, you'll notice that each has a what appears to be, a video screen. Right beneath, you'll also see the headsets. Anyone here can shed light as to what system is this?

It seems like an OEM installation. Here's a pic of the radio console

I checked the 2005 series brochure for the X3 and don't see this listed anywhere as an option.

Yup, an expensive option, but pretty cool IMO...

Exclamation Different Approach

Was looking at the center armrest in the back seat the other day and thought why not put the DVD player there? And actually not a DVD player, but just the screen (on a small swivel) and use a HD of some sort.

Anybody tried this?

My Neck will kill me if I am looking to a screen in that position during a long trip... Specially for a kid in a car seat.

There are cheaper options for people that have black or gray interior where you can get the whole headrest with the monitor. No OEM though...

Actually, we have one sitting there now held down with an elastc band and my daughter loves it. It is the perfect position.

I was thinking of a better hideaway method is all.
