Looking to buy an x3

Hi,

My Wife is looking for a x3 and we need one pretty quickly as we are expecting a baby quite soon....like in the next couple of weeks for sure.

We have decided on an X3, as we think it represents the best value.

We would like an 06 or newer with the BMW Pre owned warranty as it represents the best warranty we have seen by any manufacturer.

06 or newer , pre owned and certified BMW, less than 60,000 km, SI is a definite bonus, with leather.

WE DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MORE THAN 28-30 OUT THE DOOR.

Actually, it's less recommended that you choose a 2007+ model (facelift). Read the sticky thread regarding the automatic transmission.

2006 is a good year, as are 2004s and 2005s although the '04s have a stiffer ride that might not be pleasant in Canada.

davetyo- Hit the BMWUSA site and search the area code 14564...John Holtz BMW in Rochester. I had a great experience here...hence my '06 X3. I noticed they have a few '06/'07's...contact me if you want a decent no-nonsense sales person (I'm in sales...so...yes there IS such a thing!). I have no idea if you want to deal with the border/MPH-KPH issue...but thought I would let you know!

I was looking ap CPO vehicles as well until I looked into getting a 2009, the deals are mush better. If you qualify for BMW select they are running a 0.9% deal right now that makes it cheaper to get into a new one. You should look into it. We put down our deposit last night!

Deveyto, I just got an invitation y'day about BMW sales special even on Sep 24th with heavy discounts on remaining 2009 and even more on demo cars etc. I don't know if its on the same dates in Toronto but worth finding out.

That is great. Don't know how these people keep such low miles on their vehicles.

From what I can tell, the 2006 seems to be the favored year.

Wonder if dealers know that now and are adjusting prices accordingly.
