Brake pads for BMW X5 E70
I need to replace both my front and rear brake pads on BMW X5 e70 2008. I have been quoted £550 from the dealers. Can anyone recommend an alternative to the dealers in London ?

This is simple work. Take the truck to any shop that does brake work. Have them inspect and tell you what you need. You or they can then get the parts and do the work on a scheduled shop visit while you wait.

now my math may be off a tad but 550 pounds sterling is like $1200 US right? you are being bent forward my friend. and they ain't gonna buy you dinner first either.
a brake pad change for any BMW is about 15 minutes per wheel. you will need simple hand tools and a jack. do some research or find an indy shop.
