Want to see what could happen to a 21 year old shifter?
So I had problems shifting into the 3rd and the 5th gear of the E30, and I think this picture explains why.

SHIM 4 $0.20 25117519669 BUSH BEARING 1 $9.54 25117571899 SECURING CLIP 2 $0.53 That is the codes on the left that you place in the part number box. They are WICKED cheap, and all OEM.

ive had a bunch of 5 speeds and even the extremely rusted linkages were never even close to breaking. you just got a bad one.
.. talk about trying to force a shifter on someone

Guys guys.
 The Z shifter sounds interesting, I will look into it. Now, hopefully this is the last piece of 21 year old thing that breaks. I think I have replaced just about everything else.

im positive you have them on your vehicles as well the rubber bushings go bad causing the new bilstien shocks you just installed to clunk up and down.... it was a sad day
