E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

1989 cabrio
New member. Hello to everyone. Want to put bigger tires on my e30. It currently has 14 inch rims. Have seen some 16 inch stock rims from newer 3 series online. Does anyone know if all 3 series stock rims will fit or is there more info needed to determine a fit?

i think the OP was meaning newer as in E36/46 etc, but i may be wrong. wheels off those cars wont fit because they are the wrong pattern. you need 4x100 and an offset of around 20

Are you saying that the stock bmw 5 bolt patterns vary such that all 3 series stock rims are not interchangable. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the bolt pattern stayed the same up to 2001.

unless someone did a 5 lug conversion on your car. that seems to be popular. but other cars you can get rims from are the vw jettas with 4 lug, minis, or you can oeder customs with the correct spacing and lug pattern

was probably from the mid 80s starting on the E32/34, but seeing as the E30 was already in production they wouldnt have changed it. thats my speculation anyways
