I guess things are different in Europe. Harley Davidson dealer 1 in Geneva didn't have an 883 Iron available before 9 weeks. Asked if I coud be put on a waiting list in case of a cancellation, there were 5 guys lined up in front of me. Dina Wide Glide is also 9 weeks wait, crossbones and the rest of the dark custom range are selling like crazy.

Second dealer I had to wait 3 hours, yes, 3 hours to see the boss on saturday afternoon,I saw three people sign papers for a new bike. The wait was worthwhile though cause he found me a me black/black '10 Nightster which I purchased immediately

So I didn't get a huge deal, but I am getting the Vance and Hines shortshots and headlights fairing for free, plus a nice Bell Helmet.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me make my dream come true

Well there she is.

Nothing special, just another Nightster....but it's MY nightster

I'd like to thank you everyone for their help and good advice. Rode the bike 40 miles tonight to get the bike home, I was so hyped up I hardly felt the cold.

I am waiting for the first service to install my exhaust, air filter, shorter shocks and lateral plate holder.

Again, thanks everyone for their help

Manu,

Congrats man, I LOVE my Nightster.

You're definitely going to want a different seat - I could not last 150 miles on the stocker.

Hmm, shorter shocks, are the Swiss models 14"?
You wanna swap?

Come on over to the XL (Sportsters Only) forum!

NICE scoot you got there Mullman I'm getting the same exhaust

Stock shocks on the Euro Nighster are 13.25 " Ruins the whole look. Yours looks so much nicer. I'm set on progressive 412s in 11.5 inch. Sorry can't swap, I must keep the stock ones for the technical inspection.

And thanks for the link, I actually joined the XL forum a couple of weeks ago

Cheers, ride safe

Thanks I'll be sure to check it out. I like that round bag you have and that luggage rack. So many options, can't decide.

The round bag is a Biker's Friend.
The luggage rack is the removable black HD rack.

I've since installed the new HD tall black sissy bar.

It was a bit brisk heading out for work in the dark at 41 deg F, but worth every moment.
You live more on your commute than most people live in a week.

I've had suit jobs and still travel quite a bit, but if I can't ride a motorcycle to work most office days, it's not a job I would want...
