adjustable rear springs

So my buddy and I were at "the yard" yesterday and found an 85 318 that had adjustable rear springs that looked barely used, so we pulled them. The front springs were stock. I started to wonder why somebody put adjustable on the back and had stock on the front. The only thing I could come up with is that they just never got around to buying/installing different springs on the front.

Anybody else know why they would only have them just in the back? I am trying to figure out if I should install them and buy front ones or if I should just sell them.

was the boot carpets etc trashed? i know some people that put adjusties in thier utes/trucks because they are trades people.. wind the springs down to normal on the weekend and up during the week to compensate for the heavy load. one guy even has airbags haha.

+1. and about the only other thing i could think of, is they went and bought stiffer spring off ebay for the front and found rear adjustables on another ebay page
