E38 vs. A8

last night i was crusing around after i had washed my E38. along came an A8 4.2, kept messing around with me trying to race. so i said to hell with it, we got a red light and went for it. now, this audi was a quattro model indeed. i'd say about an '07 model. i just thought they were fairly quick, but as we past about 50-60 mph, my variable camshaft timing came into play. with my upper rpms, i just edged away as if i had a shot of nitrous. i dont usually waste time racing people, but when would i have this chance? anyways, needless to say, the audi lost. only by about my cars length, but wow my E38 performed impressively. not to mention i spun the tires off the line. is the audi just a super heavy car or something? i mean considering it did have a 4.2 liter badge, i'd expect more. hmm.
