That car made the Earth's temp rise by .57 degrees.

May be i'll just drill a couple of holes in the mufflers.

I don't like the 348, it looks like a Fiero, not a Ferrari.

I had a neighbor who bought Fiero's and installed F-car shell/innards and sent them to SoCal and sold them to people for decent cash. I came home from school one day and almost had a heart attack b/c there were a ton of F-cars in his driveway. I knew he didn't have that much baller status so my friends and I asked him about them.

IIRC he was probably getting 40-60k/piece for ate up FieroGT's.

I actually said to myself while watching that vid that the driver better watch how many passes he makes and how many downshifts he makes before he blows the engine up.

After pushing that baby that hard he's going to have to change the serpentine belt and all other related fluids/belts for a cool $10k.

Ferraris may be cheap to buy, such as the case with the 348, but you have to have a nice bank roll to keep it on the road.

Newer ones are much more reliable but I sure as hell wouldn't take one on a solo road trip across the country or something like that.

Imagine chipping your nice ceramic front rotors and having to fork out 26k to replace your brakes. I guess you got to pay to play and i sure as hell wouldn't mind being able to buy into the game!

I was looking at flipping two 575Ms real quick, one had been serviced and one had not. They were identical miles. The one that had been serviced I got offered $110 for and the one that had not been serviced the most I was offered was mid $80s. They had under 10k miles and there is a major service that needs to be done around that time. It doesn't just go by miles, but time too.

What I don't understand is how damn expensive can it be to slap a few belts on the car.

IIRC its like $15k to do the 10k mile service.

The problem is that in order to do the maintanence they have to pull the whole engine out to get to the parts. 10k mile service is often times a minor rebuild. I know of some guys who beat the piss out of their 430's until service and while the engine is pulled they mod the tranny and do boring and polishing, opening up throttle bodies...etc. Figure if you're dropping 15k+ already just for the oil change ya may as well just mod the sh!t out of the thing while the engine is out and the tranny is open.

If you're on F-chat, check out this thread
