Sounds good...I'd love to pick up a pair also...but seeing as how bright the R-Dash ones are I think in the meantime I will just stick with my stock OEM bulbs

mine worked just fine from e-92. They were too bright so I put some electrical tape on them. I can adjust the amount of light to my liking. Clean, beautiful white light looks updated.

I did bend my tabs out and pushed them into the plug until they "click locked". I wanted to retain the factory plugs in case I wanted to replace the factory ones. Good luck guys!

I was at the BMW parts desk today and the lights are out of stock in all of the USA and they are ordered to come from Germany. The parts guy said it usually take 2 weeks to get parts in from Germany. He said late next week.

Well, I have those R-Dash LED lights as well. I bought mine off of ebay and they came with small wires to adapt to my 645Ci. Maybe you don't have these wires?

Just on a side note, I had problems with one of the LED lights... possibly from running too bright. After a week of using them, the LED colour changed to a dimmer yellow instead of the original blue. I'm thinking this may be a voltage issue as the LED probably runs too bright.

I had the same extension wires that came with the led light and it did not adapt to my car. See pictures of the oem light and Led light

You got the right idea, but you took apart the wrong cable... in the 3rd pic, the original light bulb is still in the original housing. Its a bit hard to explain but you need to twist the light bulb socket out of the original housing....

So it should go like this,

Extension Cable ------> Old light bulb socket.

What you see in the second pic must be plugged back in. The socket you are looking for is the part that the light plugs into.

I had the same frustration when I tried installing, but trust me, it fits.

The small part that the cable attaches to can be found inside the original light housing, its a twist off part.

Can someone help with the pics? i cant get them to attach properly

OK I got you now that would have solved my wiring problem. But the other one was when I installed the new LED light into the retangled cutout it kept slowly popping out it would not hold in place. Maybe I just had a defected size or retaining clip.

Parts arrived

I picked the light up from the BMW dealer today. I did not get to install it, and will try and get it installed tomorrow.

I will take pics of any necessary modifications needed to the light to get it to fit.

This is what the light looks like out of the box.

Thumbs up LED In ans working.

SUCCESS.

I got the led light installed and its working without any error codes.

I used BMW part # 63 26 7 193 294

The only modification needed is to grind away a bit of plastic in the socket. You will see what needs removed when you put both light side by side. It took my about 30 seconds with a dremel to do. I cannot show any pics as I ..ummm..ran over my camera on Tuesday. I will go to my brothers house later when it gets dark and get pics with his camera to show the light output.

I only installed one light and have another on order to do the other side as I didnt want to spend $$ on something that may not work.
