New Member :)

Hey guys, New member here.

We just bought a new 2008 X3 3.0 for my little sister with 19k on the clock.

I was wondering if there is anything that I should be careful of regarding the X3. Seems the transmission is causing problems, but luckily, none so far for our car.

Is there anything else I should worry about?
What mods can we do for it?

The X3 already has the "M" body kit, "M" steering wheel, "M" wheels and seats.

Anyone has any ideas on mods?

I am planing to do the following mods:
-roof black
-powder coating the 18" rims
-installing the Sprint booster thats on my E60
-Angel Eyes upgrade
-HID fogs.
-K&N air-filter

Any other thoughts?

I came here in 2008 for my 5series but sorry to say this, there's nothing like the "E60"/"5series" forum. I tried it ever here but it was toooo slow. Hope the X3 forum is much better then the 5series over here

Looking forward,
Bteljuice

Thank you

Can you please shed some light about what to be careful of (mechanically or electronically) with the LCI X3?

Welcome to the 'fest. Other than the hit-and-miss tranny issue, this vehicle is pretty reliable How long is the warranty over there?
