Memory seat not moving and new door handles needed

Hi all.
Not been on this site before so just trying it out.
Couple of things i wanted to ask:
1) the memory seat (driver side) in my M3 E46 has stopped moving back and forward, anyone know of an easy fix or a sequence one can input to sort it?
2) i have bubbling on both door handles presumably from the sun (was there when i bought it) anyone know how much it costs to replace them and whether is worth going to a breaker or just getting BMW to do it when it goes in for service (due)?
