numbers on the back of trunk

my 325ci doesnt have the numbers on the back of the trunk, is that normal?

The previous owner probably debadged it.

Ah. At first I thought you were talking about the VIN sticker under the license plate, but realize you must be talking about the 325ci badge. Sounds like the previous owner just debadged it for appearance or wanted people to think it was a 330. Can always be replaced if you wanted it.

I debadged mine cause it is a cleaner look IMO. I suppose I will now put 5SPEED on it.

Also easier to clean.

Like was mentioned above, you could always rebadge it if you really wanted to. Personally, I think it looks better without the badges.

I am sure it was done on purpose... if a body shop fixed it after a wreck, they would have ordered replacement numbers... right?

Provided they put them back in the right place. Mine are mounted too high - just under the lip.

^^^lol at that pic. i replaced my chrome badge with the shadow black ones from jlevi. i love the look but wouldn't recommend it for any other color than black.
