broken seat?

My driverside seat doesn't go back up. One side doesn't move at all. The other side goes but it starts bending the seat. Does anyone know anything on this one?

broken motor or worn cable

If you can hear the motors when you activate the switch your cable tips going into the motors(at the front of the seat) and the seat transmissions (on the sides) are in need of replacement. If you can not hear the motors replace them.
