Navigation System
The Navigation system in my 2006 M5 names the major highways when giving directions, but it does not verbalize street names or the names of the minor highways. The folks at Nav-Tek, who provide the navigation DVD, claim that it is a hardware issue. I checked the owners manual, but I did not see a setting that might be adjusted that would enable this feature. Is this normal for all BMW navigation systems or is it specific to to my particular model or year?
