Mein Auto: 98 Z3
'98 Z3 Console

I am in the process of replacing the top on our newly adopted Z3.
I need to make several other repairs while she is laid up.
I need to get the console completely out, but have not benn able to...so far.
I have everything loose from the shifter back.
Cant see how to remove shift knob (auto)
I have radio out and instrument panel uner the radio is out.
All screws on the side, and inside the radio cavity are out...as far as i can tell.
But there is something i am missing.
Seems to be at the top front of console, above radio, where console meets dash.

Can anyone help with this?

Not sure on the auto shift knob but the top edge of the console connects to both of the Under dash panels.

Look where part 18 is labled on this diagram

Maybe easier to remove the two panels either side.
