Is navigating to adresses in iPhone adressbook possible?
Hi there,
I'm new to this forum after having bought a second-hand 525D-A from june 2005 (I have been driving 3-series models for the last 10 years or so and thought it qwould be nice to upgrade to the 5-series). My car has the bluetooth interface and I have the iPhone (3G modle) snap-in adapter in place, so calling works just fine. I can access all my contacts through the iDrive Communication pane. What I would like is to be able to navigate to adresses in my iPhone adressbook I use Road Map Europe Professional (2005-2 so I need to update this). In the iDrive Navigation pane, I can't access the adresses on the iPhone. Is this not possible, or am I doing something wrong? All help appreciated. Thanks. Bytheway, I just found out that I probably have the wrong snap-in adapter: the model I have doesn't allow me to play music that's on my iPhone. So I will have to get the USB cable, or maybe I can have my dealer switch the adapter for the one that has it all integrated.... |
