Navigation Swap
about to pickup my 2002 325ci tomorrow. I was just wondering if it is possible to swap the stock cd player for a factory dvd Nav unit from a 3 series, without changing out the whole dash?

This process is much bigger than you think, last time I check it was approximately 8hrs of work. The screen and carrier are easy to swap, but you need to re-run the wiring looms. Check out www.bimmernav.com
Long story short, if it doesn't have factory NAV, it's probably not going to get it any time soon.

Sure you can replace the screen without having to replace the entire dash - you won't have to replace anything else on the dash at all.
Now........ if you want it to work properly ......... there is a LOT of other work to be done. Be prepared to rip your car apart from stem to stern and do a LOT of wiring.

The word "there" can appear as a pronoun, as in “over there". "Their" is a possessive pronoun. In a phrase like “Susan and Bill's car,” it could be used to to make a new phrase: “their car.” ”They're” is a contraction of “they are.” “They are” should always be able to replace “they're.” Extra credit: It's "I'm looking for an M3" not "I'm looking for a M3". |
